
Priya Anand
Paralegal
Priya joined NSBHF as a paralegal in 2025, after graduating from Washington University in St. Louis with a B.A. in Political Science and minors in Psychology and Legal Studies. At WashU, she was the Co-President of WashU Votes and a research assistant for the St. Louis Zoning Atlas and the Prison Education Project. She also helped found Itero, a magazine that publishes the art and writing of currently and formerly incarcerated individuals in Missouri.
Previously, Priya interned for the ACLU of Missouri Complaint Investigation Unit, where she supported litigation on prison conditions, transgender healthcare, and voting rights. She also interned with the Missouri State Public Defender's Office in St. Louis.
