COCHRAN FELLOWSHIP

NSBHF’s goal is to develop the next generation of civil-rights litigators. That’s why, since 2001, NSBHF has sponsored a two-year fellowship named in honor of late founding partner Johnnie L. Cochran, Jr., to continue his dedication and commitment to civil rights while a member of the firm and throughout his distinguished career. Through the Cochran Fellowship, we introduce dedicated lawyers early in their careers to all aspects of complex civil-rights litigation. The Cochran Fellowship is one of the most selective post-graduate legal fellowships in the country and attracts exceptional applicants committed to social justice each year.  For more information on what to expect from the Cochran Fellowship, please click here.
