Cochran Fellow
Omoyele (Omi) Okunola joined NSBHF as a Cochran Fellow in 2025. Before joining the firm, Omi clerked for Judge Patricia Tolliver Giles of the Eastern District of Virginia and Judge Eunice C. Lee of the Second Circuit.
During law school, Omi served as an executive board member for Volume 60 of the American Criminal Law Review. Omi was also a student attorney in the Criminal Defense & Prisoners' Advocacy Clinic, through which she represented individuals charged with misdemeanor offenses before the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.
