
Andrea Alexander
Andrea Alexander joined NSBHF as Managing Director in 2025. With more than 15 years of experience as an attorney, strategist, and executive, Andrea has successfully led large-scale initiatives and cross-functional teams in fast-paced, high-stakes environments across multiple industries, delivering measurable impact through operational excellence and strategic innovation. She has worked closely with founders, executives, and boards to scale organizations, strengthen culture, and navigate pivotal transitions. Prior to NSBHF, Andrea served as Chief of Staff at ActBlue, where she guided the organization through a period of growth, transition, and operational transformation. She was previously Vice President & Assistant General Counsel at JPMorgan Chase in the bank's Corporate and Regulatory practice, an attorney in the Office of the General Counsel at the New York City Administration for Children’s Services, and began her career in legal, compliance, and risk advisory roles at KPMG and Protiviti.
Andrea earned her J.D. from Tulane University Law School and her B.A. from Dickinson College. She is admitted to practice law in New York and is deeply engaged in nonprofit leadership and community organizing. She serves on the board of the Louis August Jonas Foundation, where she chaired the recent executive director search and provides ongoing strategic guidance on governance, fundraising, and financial oversight. She is also an ambassador for the NYC Kids Rise Public School Alumni Community Scholarship campaign.
