Barros joined the firm in the beginning of 2026 as Controller, serving as a strategic financial leader dedicated to building the operational resilience required to support the firm’s mission in civil rights and social justice. With over 17 years of experience in corporate accounting and operations management, Antonio oversees the firm’s financial strategy, ensuring that its resources are optimized to handle high-stakes litigation and long-term advocacy.
In his current capacity, Antonio functions as a "financial architect," aligning fiscal health with organizational growth. He specializes in transforming complex financial landscapes into streamlined, high-performing systems — expertise he honed while leading operations for diverse organizations, including a prominent architectural firm and a high-profile art collector’s trust. By implementing advanced financial modeling and forensic accounting techniques, Antonio provides the executive leadership with the real-time insights and risk mitigation strategies necessary for informed decision-making in a dynamic legal environment.
Antonio earned his MBA in Public Accounting and his BBA in Accounting from Pace University. A native speaker of Portuguese, he is also proficient in English, Spanish, German, and French. An avid global traveler, Antonio has visited dozens of countries across five continents. Whether he is scuba diving in tropical waters or skiing in the mountains, he brings the same sense of disciplined adventure to his personal life that he does to the firm’s financial operations.
