Grace Paras / Cochran Fellow

Grace joined NSBHF in 2021 as a Cochran fellow, and returned to the firm in 2024 after clerking for the Honorable Guido Calabresi of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and for the Honorable Ronnie Abrams of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. She was also the Supreme Court Assistance Project Fellow for Public Citizen’s Litigation Group from 2020–2021, where she practiced before the United States Supreme Court on a variety of public-interest issues, including qualified immunity and employment discrimination.

Grace graduated from Georgetown University Law Center. She was one of eight students in her class to receive a full-tuition scholarship based on her dedication to the public interest. During law school, Grace was Editor-in-Chief of The Georgetown Law Journal and completed over 200 pro bono hours.

Before entering law school, Grace worked on issues of access to counsel for detained immigrants at the Vera Institute of Justice.
